A few months ago I moved into a new house and had lots of stuff to buy. To make my life easier and save money, I bought a lot of it on Amazon. So much, in fact, that I had packages at my door almost every day.
When you buy a lot of stuff online like that, it’s quite easy to lose track of it all, and just assume it will all get delivered. And most of it does. However, it has been my experience that, once in a while, something gets lost. Especially if it’s something small and inexpensive, it’s easy not to notice.
Well, like many things today, there’s an app for that. Slice will automatically track your purchases from many retailers, including Amazon. It will track their shipment and delivery, as well as price drops, and will categorize your purchases and let you know your total spend and your spend per category.
The only downside is that you have to give it the credentials to the e-mail address where you get your receipts. However, that is solved by having a separate e-mail account for your receipts with a password that you don’t use for anything else.
This app is a good way to rid yourself of the burden of tracking your packages, and make sure your actually receive all you pay for. Try it!
